Position Overview:
As an Interior Designer, you will play a key role in conceptualizing, designing, and executing interior spaces that meet the functional and aesthetic needs of clients. Responsibilities:
Client Consultation:
Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.
Conduct site visits to assess the space and gather necessary information.
Concept Development:
Develop creative concepts and design solutions tailored to meet client objectives.
Create mood boards, sketches, and renderings to communicate design ideas effectively.
Space Planning and Layout:
Utilize space efficiently to optimize functionality and flow within interiors.
Develop detailed floor plans, furniture layouts, and elevation drawings.
Material and Finishes Selection:
Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, and accessories that align with design concepts and client preferences.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure materials and products.
Presentation and Communication:
Present design proposals to clients, incorporating feedback and revisions as necessary.
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members throughout the design process.
Project Management:
Oversee the implementation of design projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
Construction Administration:
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address any issues that arise, and ensure design intent is maintained during construction.
Review construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings for accuracy and compliance with design intent.
