Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Intensivist to join our Critical Care team. As an Intensivist, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the care of critically ill patients in our intensive care unit (ICU). This position offers an opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals committed to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate and manage critically ill patients in the ICU, including those with respiratory failure, sepsis, cardiac emergencies, and other life-threatening conditions.

Perform bedside procedures, such as intubation, central line placement, and chest tube insertion.

Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies to make informed treatment decisions.

Coordinate and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, respiratory therapists, and consultants.

Monitor and adjust mechanical ventilation settings to optimize patient outcomes.

Provide timely and compassionate family meetings to discuss patient care plans and prognosis.

Participate in hospital committees, quality improvement initiatives, and educational activities.

Stay updated on advancements in critical care medicine and evidence-based practices.

Requirements:

Medical degree (MD or DO) and board certification in Critical Care Medicine.

Fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine required.

State medical licensure and DEA registration (current and unrestricted).

Proven experience as an Intensivist preferred.

Excellent clinical skills and ability to manage complex, critically ill patients.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
