Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with government customers and departments that align with the company's offerings.

Research and qualify leads through RFQs, RFPs, and government procurement platforms.

Knowledge of the GeM Portal is required.

Promote products or services to government clients via calls, emails, and virtual meetings.

Develop customized sales proposals and bid responses tailored to government requirements

Understand and address government compliance regulations, including FAR and DFARS.

Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, contracting officers, and purchasing agents in government organizations.

Serve as the primary point of contact for government accounts, ensuring excellent customer service.

Work closely with contracts, legal, and marketing teams to ensure accurate and compliant proposals.

Collaborate with field sales and business development teams to align sales strategies for government clients.

Track sales activities, pipeline status, and results.

Provide regular updates on progress, opportunities, and challenges in the government sales sector.

Meet or exceed sales quotas and performance goals specific to government accounts.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the government sector or B2G (Business-to-Government).

Familiarity with government procurement processes, contracts, and compliance requirements.

Strong understanding of RFQs, RFPs, and other government procurement methods.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (should be fluent in English and Hindi)

High attention to detail and organizational skills for managing complex sales cycles.

Self-starter with a results-driven mind-sets.

Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and adapt to changing policies.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address government-specific challenges.
