Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Getting sales using various customer sales methods
2. Advise clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs
3. Customize insurance programs to suit individual clients
4. Deliver approved policies to new clients and explain benefits and risks of the policy
5. Re-assess the policy needs of existing clients after life-changing events
6. Issue quotes and maintain client records
7. Keep abreast of industry and market trends and best practices
8. Following up for logging and issuance of policies
9. Co-ordinating with channel partners for any new product launch
10. Coordinating with the channel partner once a month
11. Negotiating payment and pricing
12. Following up on business leads and referrals
13. Meet personal and team sales targets
14. Maintain and expand client database within your assigned portfolio
Desired Candidate Profile:
1. Minimum of 1-7 years of experience in insurance sales preferred
2. Expert in handling objection
3. Excellent selling skills
4. Able to handhold and train new staff
5. Punctual, reliable and must have strong communication skills
6. Able to work in a team and produce quality output under tight deadlines
7. Strong verbal and oral communication skills
8. Attention to detail, prioritization skills, and time management
9. Quick learner with a positive attitude
10. Maintain a strong relationship with clients
11. An empowered team member, a process-oriented thinker
Educational Background:
Graduate/MBA from the relevant field
Additional Pointers:
1. Should be open to transfer to any other group company/department/location on the basis of management requirements.
2. Should be open to take additional responsibilities apart from the current scope of work.
