We are seeking a talented and passionate Indian Cook/Chef with expertise in a wide range of cuisines, including traditional Indian dishes, Chinese, pizza, sandwiches, pasta, and more. The ideal candidate should be versatile, creative, and have a strong understanding of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian cooking. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining consistent taste and presentation, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including but not limited to:
Traditional Indian cuisine (curries, biryanis, tandoori dishes, etc.)
Chinese cuisine (noodles, fried rice, Manchurian, etc.)
Pizza (from dough preparation to topping and baking)
Sandwiches and wraps (vegetarian and non-vegetarian)
Pasta (various types and sauces)
Follow recipes and adjust as necessary to maintain quality and taste.
Ensure the proper use of kitchen equipment, tools, and utensils.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Stock ingredients and supplies, ensuring the kitchen is well-stocked for smooth operations.
Prepare ingredients in advance, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, etc.
Monitor and manage food preparation timelines to meet service demands.
Assist in menu planning and contribute to the creation of new dishes or seasonal specials.
Maintain food safety standards and ensure all dishes are cooked at the correct temperature.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and quality control.
