Job/Project Description

Work directly with Technical User or Business Analyst

Review requirements to deliver optimized Data Integration within the company and with external partners.

Design and Implement Data Integration Data Flows.

Design and Implement PowerCenter Mapping and Workflows as well as IICS (Cloud Application Integration , Cloud Data Integration, Cloud Data Quality, Cloud Integration Hub and Cloud B2B Gateway)

Design and implement ER diagrams when needed.

Writing and debugging SQL queries when needed.

Create shell scripts when needed, typically less than 5%.

Create auxiliary java code to overcome product limitation, typically less than 5%.

Provide updates on your tasks daily, done, next and blockers and work towards unblock yourself.

Provide weekly status on tasks done during the week and plan for the following week.

Prerequisite Skills/Knowledge

Advanced/Fluent English

3-4+ years of experience with PowerCenter and IICS (CAI, CDI, CDQ , CIH and Cloud B2B Gateway).

Intermediary Java and Shell script Knowledge.

Structured Query Language (SQL) experience

Relational database management system concepts and experience with SQL ANSI, DML and DDL.

Information systems/network architecture.

System Operation on Windows/Linux, intermediate to advanced knowledge and navigation knowledge.

Self though, Self Learner.

Expected to grow in future in other areas such as Data Engineering.

Expected to share knowledge and guide more junior resources.

Desirable:

Micro services architecture.

Programming language: one programming language preferable Java or Python, but okay with (C, C++, Java, Python, C# or MS .NET).

Scripting Language: at least one medium level of scripting on (shell/bash script, Python or other).

Installation and configuration of basic software ideally with Operational System setup and Database setup.

Familiar with concepts of Virtualization and/or Containerization.
