Job Description

- Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes for all staff, including construction site workers, engineers, and administrative personnel.

- Manage employee relations, addressing concerns, grievances, and conflicts while ensuring a positive and productive work environment.

- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry standards related to human resources.

- Identify training needs and develop training programs to improve employee skills and ensure safety compliance on construction sites.

- Coordinate and manage induction programs for new employees to familiarize them with company policies, safety procedures, and project goals.

- Oversee payroll management, ensuring timely and accurate payment of salaries, allowances, and bonuses for all employees.

- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and promote a safe working environment across construction sites.

- Collaborate with safety officers and project managers to ensure that all workers undergo safety training and adhere to safety protocols.

- Oversee day-to-day administrative functions, including managing office supplies, equipment, and facilities for the HR and admin department.

- Supervise the management of office space, transportation, and accommodation arrangements for employees working on-site or traveling for projects.

- Organize employee welfare programs and team-building activities to enhance morale and foster a positive company culture.

- Lead the performance appraisal process, setting clear expectations, timelines, and performance metrics for employees.

- Support managers in providing regular feedback to employees and assist with performance improvement plans when needed. Manage labor contracts and ensure adherence to collective bargaining agreements or union regulations if applicable.

- Act as the point of contact for negotiations related to labor issues, compensation, and benefits.
