Job Description

1. Lead and manage the recruitment process for both permanent and temporary staff, ensuring a steady pipeline of skilled labor, including engineers, foremen, laborers, and project managers.

2. Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they are properly integrated into the company, including site-specific inductions, safety training, and job role familiarization.

3. Monitor and enforce adherence to health and safety regulations, ensuring that employees are working in a safe and legally compliant environment.

4. Act as a point of contact for employees to address concerns, grievances, or workplace issues, striving for timely and fair resolutions.

5. Promote a positive work culture by mediating conflicts and ensuring effective communication between management and employees.

6. Implement and manage a performance management system that includes regular performance reviews, feedback, and goal-setting for employees.

7. Oversee the design and administration of compensation packages, ensuring that the company remains competitive within the construction industry.

8. Ensure that all construction workers comply with site-specific safety regulations and receive ongoing safety training and certifications.

9. Collaborate with project managers to forecast staffing needs for current and upcoming projects, considering project timelines, skill requirements, and peak labor demands.

10. Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee retention, focusing on creating an engaged and motivated workforce.

11. Identify high-potential employees and develop succession plans to ensure continuity in key roles across construction projects.

12. Maintain accurate records on employee data, including performance evaluations, training, certifications, and benefits.

13. Oversee the offboarding process for employees leaving the company, ensuring proper exit interviews are conducted to gather feedback and maintain positive relationships.
