Job Description

1. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for various positions within the company, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.

2. Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and ensure timely hiring for different roles.

3. Conduct new hire orientation sessions, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees into the company.

4. Maintain and update employee records in the HR management system.

5. Ensure that all employee data, such as personal details, job roles, compensation, and performance records, are accurate and securely stored.

6. Assist in managing the payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate salary payments for all employees.

7. Track employee attendance, overtime, and leave balances.

8. Support the performance appraisal process, including helping to set up evaluation criteria, collecting feedback, and managing appraisals.

9. Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.

10. Organize training sessions, workshops, and seminars to help employees develop skills relevant to their roles.

11. Ensure that all HR practices comply with labor laws and industry regulations.

12. Assist in audits and inspections related to labor practices and health and safety.

13. Organize employee engagement activities, such as team-building exercises, celebrations, or wellness programs, to maintain morale and foster a positive work culture.

14. Manage the offboarding process for employees who are resigning, retiring, or being terminated, including conducting exit interviews and ensuring all formalities are completed.

15. Prepare and maintain HR-related reports, such as headcount reports, turnover rates, absenteeism, and recruitment metrics.

16. Understand the unique HR needs of the logistics industry, including managing the workforce for shift-based or seasonal roles.
