Job Summary:
The HR Specialist in a Dental Laboratory will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of human resources in the laboratory, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance with employment laws and regulations, and employee development.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
Manage the recruitment and selection process for all positions in the laboratory, including creating job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions
Develop and implement performance management processes to ensure that employees receive regular feedback and are held accountable for meeting performance expectations
Manage employee relations by investigating and resolving employee complaints and grievances, and providing guidance and support to supervisors and employees
Develop and implement employee development programs, including training and development plans, performance coaching, and mentoring programs
Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits
Manage the employee onboarding process to ensure that new employees are integrated into the laboratory culture and work processes effectively
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including employment contracts, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions
Provide support to management in the development and implementation of strategic plans for the laboratory
