Position – Jr. Hr. Officer
JOB PURPOSE
Under the direct supervision of the Director Employee Relations, the Industrial Relations Officer is responsible for coordinating the Industrial Relations Programme for staff in the Department for the promotion of good labour practices and harmonious relations between Management, Workers, Trade Unions and Associations.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management (HRM),/MBA in Human Resource Management (HRM)
• 1-2 years’ experience in an HRM/IR capacity;
• Specialized training in industrial relations would be an asset.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• Must have good experience in Manpower handling
• Good knowledge of Labor Laws and Industrial Relations practices.
• Computer Literate in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Advance Excel, PowerPoint;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Ability to conduct investigations and produce reports accordingly;
• Excellent interpersonal skills, Strong analytical, problem solving & detail oriented good team player
• Excellent conflict management skills;
• Good time management, planning and organizing skills;
• Good presentation skills
