Responsible for designing and developing of HCM solutions that are strategic for the business and
built on the latest technologies and platforms. Possesses a broad understanding of cross functional
touchpoints and their impacts within the Workday system to effectively develop solutions to complex
problems/projects across multiple modules. Independently consults with external partners in all
stages of the Workday project lifecycle, from planning and design phases through testing and
deployment for Workday HCM
Essential Job Function:
Partner closely with key business stakeholders for eg: Talent acquisition, Learning &
Development ,Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, and Data Management teams to build and
drive a roadmap addressing their technology needs, aligning with them on project priorities,
timelines, issue resolution, testing and deployment plans
Lead Workday development projects from start to finish; act as the driving force behind
system continuous improvement efforts.
Manage and track projects to achieve target scope, schedule, and cost.
Consults on impact of decisions to operating post-implementation and downstream
systems.
Provides a proactive interface between the external partners and the internal HR Team to
ensure effective coordination and delivery of Workday projects
Manage Workday releases and scheduled upgrades of other platforms
Conduct process reviews and data audits, manage risk and issues, change control processes,
and communicate status across the HR team and related stakeholders.
Execute daily maintenance activities including but not limited to role and security
assignments, organization creation and changes, business process changes, security
assignments, etc.
Prepare for Workday updates, rolling out new features and functionality to optimize
performance and usability.
Develop, support, and optimize operations, processes, data flows, security, reporting and
analytics.
