As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of housekeeping operations at our hotel. You will ensure that our guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and standards to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Supervise and train housekeeping staff, including room attendants, laundry staff, and janitorial personnel.
Schedule and assign duties to housekeeping staff, ensuring adequate coverage to meet guest needs and operational requirements.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and compliance with hotel standards.
Monitor inventory levels of housekeeping supplies and equipment, and coordinate with the procurement department for timely replenishment.
Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including room occupancy, cleaning schedules, and maintenance requests.
Collaborate with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to ensure seamless coordination and guest satisfaction.
Implement and adhere to health and safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment, to maintain a safe working environment for staff and guests.
