Position Description:

Teach Hindi language and syllabus courses to Middle/High School Hindi students primary language (Language B). Act as a liaison between IAS administration, teaching staff.

Teach the history of Hindi literature with an emphasis on modern literature and selected literary works, literary skills including text handling, written and oral presentations

Academic Qualifications:

/. (or equivalent) from a recognized university;

/ TESOL/ or language teaching certificate desirable

Professional Experience:

At least three years of teaching experience or equivalent in a multi-cultural or international context

Fluent in written and spoken Hindi.

Experienced dealing with youth ages 10-16

Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:

Support IAS guiding principles

Teach up to 75% out of total instructional periods in a 6-day cycle.

Preparation, marking, report writing, and all other administration related to the teaching of the subject(s).

Participate in departmental meetings, planning, in-service training activities, and invigilation duties as required by the Head of Department or Coordinators.
