Effective communication skills in Kannada and English

Job Description:

Provide thorough document checking, proofreading, and copy-editing services in line with stakeholder requests.

Manage and coordinate workflow to meet stakeholder requirements and align with other document service departments.

Adhere to departmental deadlines, ensuring efficient and effective workflow while following company procedures.

Actively monitor personal workload to avoid missing deadlines and communicate with stakeholders and colleagues to identify potential issues.

Assist stakeholders by offering guidance on the use of English language or house styles and improve document readability when requested.

Accurately record time using automated time-tracking software to ensure proper chargeback for departmental work.

Translate content from one language to another, ensuring the original meaning and context are preserved.

Provide subtitles for online, video, and television media.

Consult with subject matter experts and colleagues to understand specialized concepts for accurate translation.

Utilize online translation tools for additional assistance.

Use specialized translation software to enhance efficiency and consistency.

Adhere to industry quality standards as established by the Association of Translation Companies, ensuring all work meets legal and ethical obligations.

Translate various documents, including literary, legal, research, technical, scientific, educational, and commercial materials.
