As a Helper, you will be responsible for assisting in various tasks and providing support to different departments or teams within the organization. Your tasks may vary depending on the specific job assignment, but the general responsibilities include:
Assistance: Provide assistance and support to the assigned department or team in their day-to-day activities. This may include carrying out manual tasks, handling materials or equipment, and following instructions from supervisors or team leaders.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the work area, facilities, or equipment. This may involve sweeping, mopping, dusting, or other related duties.
Stock Management: Assist in managing inventory or stock by counting, organizing, and labeling items. Help with loading and unloading goods or supplies as required.
Documentation: Assist in maintaining records and documentation related to tasks or activities. This may involve filling out forms, logging information, or assisting in data entry.
Support to Operations: Provide support to operational activities as directed, which may include assisting with setup, dismantling, or moving of equipment, furniture, or other items.
Safety Compliance: Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Report any hazards, accidents, or near misses to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications:
No specific educational qualifications required.
Prior experience as a Helper or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to understand and follow instructions from supervisors or team leaders.
Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects if required.
Willingness to work in different environments and adapt to changing job assignments.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
