We are seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy Driver to join our team for return trips. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials from their destination back to the original location, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires a valid heavy vehicle driving license, strong navigational skills, and the ability to adhere to traffic and safety regulations. The Heavy Driver (Return Trips) will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and secure transportation of goods while maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate and drive various types of heavy vehicles, such as trucks and trailers, to transport goods and materials back to the original location.

Plan return trips effectively to optimize time and resources, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.

Load and unload goods onto the vehicle, ensuring that they are properly secured and protected during transportation.

Follow planned routes and schedules, considering traffic and weather conditions to avoid delays and ensure on-time deliveries.

Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations, maintaining a clean driving record and ensuring the safety of the vehicle and its cargo.

Communicate effectively with the logistics team and supervisors to provide updates on delivery schedules and any potential issues or delays.

Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any mechanical issues or damages to the maintenance team.

Maintain records of trips, including vehicle logs, fuel consumption, and any incidents or accidents during transportation.

Provide excellent customer service, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy when interacting with clients or customers during deliveries.

Comply with company policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety and adherence to transportation guidelines.
