• Should have thorough knowledge on cables & wires ( HT cable/LT cable/ AB cable/ Conductors)
• Should be able to generate sales leads and face the potential clients to close the deals.
• Flexible in nature and willing to listen and understand / convince the customers.
• Willing to travel extensively. Languages would be a added advantage.
• Should be a team player and develop a team who can work aggressively on achieving required targets.
• Budgeting and sales forecast on monthly / quarterly and yearly basis
• To identify & map the market potential of business segment
• Develop business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company revenue goals and profitability.

Essential Requirements
• MBA in Marketing (Preferable)
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Business Development, Preferably from Power Cable Industry
• Should have handled Utility / Utility Contractors / Key Accounts Customers/EPC
• Excellent Communication/Presentation Skills
• Strong Leadership
JOB DESCRIPTION
 To Identify marketing / business opportunities on the basis of consumer requirements; competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
 Accomplishes business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans.
 Achieves marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
 Interaction with leading PGCIL, EPC Contractors, SEB, Power Projects, Export EPC Contractor working in overseas countries for Sales & Business Development.
