On Behalf of our client Kuriftu Resort Ethiopia, we are looking for a Head Chef for its two properties located in Bishoftu and Bahir Dar, Ethiopia.

Kuriftu Resorts are Ethiopia's premier destinations for health, beauty, and relaxation located throughout Ethiopia including Bishoftu, Bahir Dar, Adama, Langano and Semera. The resort is currently extended its operations beyond Ethiopia to Djibouti, Moucha Island.

Job brief

We are looking for a creative and proficient in all aspects of food preparation, chef. You will be “the chief” and maintain complete control of the kitchen.

Chef responsibilities include studying recipes, setting up menus and preparing high-quality dishes.

Education: Culinary school Diploma or Degree

Experience: 2 yrs - 5 yrs

Qualification:

- Ability to prepare dishes with local ingredients

- Designing new recipe and planning a menu

- Hiring and training kitchen staffs

- Setting and monitoring food and beverage standards

- Obtaining feedback on food and service quality and handling customer complaints

- Ability to produce good quality buffet production

- Ensuring promptness, freshness, and quality of dishes

Terms and Conditions of Employment

- Salary: 800$ - 1000 $

- Food: Free Food (3 meals per day) provided by the employer

- Accommodation: Free suitable accommodation provided by the Employer.

- Air Ticket for joining duty: Will be provided by the employer

- Probation Period: Three (3) months

- Normal working days/hours: Based on the schedule

- Income Tax: Income tax will be covered by the Employer and remitted to the government.
