JOB SUMMARY
• Accountable for overall success of the daily kitchen operations.
• Leads the culinary staff and manages all food related functions.
• Exhibits advanced culinary talent including a deep knowledge of best practices.
• Works to continually improve food quality, presentation and guest experience.
• Keeps track of operational costs for kitchen.
• Supervises all kitchen areas to ensure a consistent, high quality product is produced
• Responsible for guiding and developing staff.
• Must ensure sanitation and food standards are achieved.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major;
• 5 years experience as a Head Chef.
• 5 years experience as a sous chef in high end restaurants or abroad.
• Practical knowledge of various computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
