Role of L1 engineer:
Monitor & maintain computer systems, servers, Wireless Router, networks & other peripherals (Printers, scanners, Monitors etc...)
Installing & configuring computer systems
Diagnose hardware & Networking faults
Configuring & maintaining Outlook
Troubleshooting & providing resolution to problems
Knowledge of Windows operating system & other general desktop support issues
Responsibility:
Equipped with all necessary toolkit ( Hardware / Software)
Understand the problem before applying solution
Each and every visit engineer will have to make the service report and if the call is not completed then also engineer have to make the report of pending work.
Report to the coordinator the call details
Engineercan ask for the feedback of the call and it can be implemented in service call report
Engineershould be well dressed and well behaved.
Not to over commit.
Keep client data ( Contact no / address) instead of asking every time
Take confirmation from client before attending call and give estimate time of reaching.
make service report when you enter client place. this is valid even if the problem is resolved before you reach. once Engineer enters client place report is mandatory.
Inform the coordinator of any pending work due to any issue or due to any parts to the coordinator before leaving the client place.
Mandatory need to send Daily , Weekly and monthly reports.
