• Sound experience in design of digital and mixed signal circuits using microcontrollers/microprocessors.
• Experience in high-speed interfaces. Strong component selection skills like MCUs, SDRAM, DDRs, EEPROMs etc... on automotive application designs
• Hands on experience of design & debugging different communication interfaces like
I2C, SPI, RS232, RS485, CAN, BLE, external memories, LCD & touch screen
interfaces etc.
• Strong knowledge in analog and mixed embedded system design by using 8
bit/16/32bit micro controllers or processors. TIs MSPxxx series, NXP, Si-Lab
devices, Analog devices, Qualcomm, etc.
• Knowledge of RF/Antennas, design and testing of RF signal chain (transmit and receive) design.
• Experience in design for EMI-EMC compliance, resolution of EMI-EMC issues.
• Knowledge on AEC-Q100, AEC-Q101, AEC-Q104 and AEC-Q200 standards
• Knowledge on HW Timing analysis, Signal Integrity concepts
• Experience with requirement analysis, hardware specification, testing, and validation of hardware modules in automotive domain
• Sound experience in resolving field / customer anomalies, manufacturing issues by using techniques like RCA (Root Cause Analysis), 8D, 5 Why or similar methods.
• Experience in design level, design for safety like meeting UL requirements. Design for certification like UL, TUV etc...
• Obsolescence management, preparing BOM in the most efficient way and execution.
• Hands on experience with Multi- meters, Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Logic analyzer etc.
• Performing, optimizing & resolving the failures of EMI, EMC, Automotive EMC/Transient measurements and duration of tests as specified in the measurement requirement.
• Collaborating with software engineers to ensure software compatibility and integration with the hardware components
• Proficiency in circuit analysis, circuit simulation using PSpice /MATLAB/Agilent ADS and circuit
tolerance analysis.
• Familiarity with multiple embedded development environments including Keil, Eclipse,
