The Ground Hostess is the first point of contact for passengers at the airport, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and pleasant travel experience. They assist passengers with check-in, baggage handling, boarding procedures, and general inquiries, while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
Responsibilities:
* Greet and welcome passengers with a warm and friendly attitude.
* Assist passengers with check-in procedures, including verifying travel documents and issuing boarding passes.
* Provide information about flight schedules, gate assignments, baggage allowances, and airport facilities.
* Assist passengers with special needs, such as wheelchair assistance or unaccompanied minors.
* Handle passenger inquiries and resolve issues or complaints efficiently and professionally.
* Ensure smooth boarding procedures by directing passengers to the correct gates and assisting with boarding arrangements.
* Monitor passenger flow and address any potential delays or disruptions.
* Collaborate with other airline and airport staff to ensure seamless operations.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and security procedures.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in customer service or hospitality are a plus.
* Proven experience in customer service or a related field, preferably in the aviation industry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
