a) Creation of Database in GIS environment.

b) Performing ortho-rectification, data mosaics, image to image data rectifications, importing data from other environments in GIS.

c) On time submission of projects and ensuring its requirements.

d) Performing regular QC of data and preparing of necessary report in this regards.

e) Preparing Action plan for execution of any project undergoing in the Department

f) Assisting Administration in procurement of Satellite Data or other stuffs necessary for speedy execution of the project.

g) Prepare Technical reports on the projects under supervision.

h) Assisting the Information Technology personal for creation of Web GIS based Platforms.

i) The incumbent should be adapt enough in handling clients as and when required.

j) The incumbent should be able to conduct field based ground truthing as and when required in West Bengal as well as in other states based upon the requirement of the project.
