Job Title: General Manager - Sales (Coal)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy Development:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies for achieving sales targets.
Identify new market opportunities and drive the expansion of the business into untapped markets.
2. Client Relationship Management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Negotiate and close high-value sales agreements, contracts, and partnerships.
3. Team Leadership:
Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve set goals.
Provide training and mentorship to enhance the team's performance.
4. Market Analysis:
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt the sales approach accordingly.
Gather insights and data to forecast industry trends and potential sales volume.
5. Revenue Management:
Manage the sales budget to maximize profitability.
Track and analyze sales performance, and prepare detailed sales reports for senior management.
6. Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies in all sales activities.
Report on sales activities, pipeline status, and key metrics to the leadership team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a senior management role within the coal industry.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the coal industry, including supply chain, trading practices, and market dynamics.
Leadership Skills: Proven leadership experience with strong ability to motivate and manage a team.
Communication: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
