Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Lead a team of quality engineers and inspectors to maintain product quality and minimize defects.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track quality metrics and drive continuous improvement.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and address non-conformances.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Provide training and guidance to plant personnel on quality procedures and best practices.
Drive a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Manage relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure alignment on quality expectations and requirements.
Stay updated on industry trends and developments in quality management practices.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management within the forging, casting, and machining industry.
Proven track record of implementing quality management systems and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulations relevant to the industry (., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF ).
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Experience with quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Root Cause Analysis.
Proficiency in quality management software and systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
