Position: General Manager - Hospital Operations
Job Summary:
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the hospital's operations, ensuring efficient service delivery, managing staff, and achieving business targets. This role involves strategic planning, operational management, customer service excellence, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all hospital operations, ensuring high patient satisfaction and optimal service delivery.
Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for efficiency and consistency.
Prepare & Manage budgets, optimize expenses, and maintain the financial health of the hospital.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
Evaluate staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and address complaints promptly.
Identify growth opportunities and develop marketing strategies.
Oversee financial performance and implement cost-control measures.
Ensure the hospital facilities are well-maintained and meet safety standards.
Collaborate with senior management on business strategies.
Manage employee leave, duty rosters, and ensure staff training.
Assist the Director with administrative tasks related to day-to-day operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
5-7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the healthcare industry, wellness centers (., VLCC), or the hotel industry.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant business software.
Excellent knowledge of Google Suite, with an expectation to support the Director in logistics, travel arrangements, coordination, and report compilation.
