Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Furniture Carpenter to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to craft and assemble furniture pieces with precision and quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:

Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret furniture design plans, sketches, or blueprints to understand project requirements.

Material Preparation: Select, cut, and shape wood and other materials according to specifications using hand or power tools.

Furniture Construction: Assemble and construct furniture pieces such as tables, chairs, cabinets, and other custom pieces using joinery techniques.

Finishing Work: Sand, stain, paint, or varnish finished products to achieve desired aesthetics and protect the wood's surface.

Repair and Restoration: Perform repairs and restoration work on existing furniture pieces to maintain or enhance their quality and appearance.

Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and design specifications.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with tools, equipment, and materials.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Furniture Carpenter or in a similar role within the furniture manufacturing or woodworking industry.

Skills: Proficiency in woodworking techniques, including measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling furniture components.

Knowledge: Understanding of different wood types, their characteristics, and suitable applications for various furniture styles.

Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail to produce high-quality, finished furniture pieces.

Adaptability: Ability to work on diverse furniture projects, adapting to different specifications and deadlines.

Team Collaboration: Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with designers, craftsmen, and project managers.
