Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management:
o Plan, schedule, and oversee carpentry projects from start to finish.
o Allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
o Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to ensure
timely completion.
2. Team Leadership:
o Supervise and mentor a team of carpenters, ensuring they adhere to project
timelines and quality standards.
o Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
o Foster a collaborative and safe work environment, promoting teamwork and
professional development.
3. Quality Assurance:
o Ensure that all carpentry work meets industry standards and client
specifications.
o Conduct quality inspections and address any issues promptly to maintain high
standards of craftsmanship.
4. Cost Management:
o Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-
effective practices.
o Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety.
5. Communication and Coordination:
o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and other
stakeholders.
o Coordinate with other trades and disciplines to ensure seamless project
integration.
o Communicate project status, milestones, and issues to stakeholders in a clear
and timely manner.
6. Safety and Compliance:
o Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations on-site.
o Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to mitigate risks and maintain
a safe working environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Carpentry Manager or similar role in construction
management.
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage
a diverse team.
Solid understanding of project management principles and practices.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
