Akshaya Vidya foundation is a not for profit organization based in Hyderabad. Our mission is to transform the lives of children in slums with the power of education. Our vision is to be part of a society where every child has the access to quality education irrespective of his or her background and develop their full potential.
We currently run 120 centres in various slums in Hyderabad. This role is an individual contributor role.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Developing and executing fundraising strategies
• Fostering ongoing relationships with donors
• Providing updates or checking in with regular or recurring supporters
• Planning and hosting fundraising events
• Increase no of donors according to the targets set by the leadership team
• Plan donor visits to centre
• Ensure branding is visible in all centres
• Coordinate printing and delivery of branding materials to centres
Qualifications and Skill Sets
• Bachelors Degree with at least 3 years of fund raising experience in a mid sized NGO
• Work experience in social sector is a must
• Excellent written and oral communication in English and Telugu
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills
• Knowledge of MS Office is a must
