Fundraising Manager

Job Description

Job Summary:

The Fundraising Manager for Project Finance is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing fundraising strategies to secure financing for specific projects, including infrastructure, renewable energy, real estate development, and other capital-intensive initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of project finance, investment structures, and donor/investor relations.

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising Strategy Development:

Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure capital for project-specific initiatives.

Identify potential sources of project finance, including institutional investors, private equity firms, venture capitalists, and other funding sources.

Design and execute capital-raising campaigns, ensuring alignment with project timelines and financial goals.

Investor and Donor Relations:

Cultivate and manage relationships with existing and potential investors, donors, and financial institutions.

Prepare and present project proposals, financial models, and investment pitches to prospective investors and stakeholders.

Organize and lead meetings, site visits, and negotiations with potential funding partners.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

Work closely with the finance team to develop financial models, projections, and business cases for project funding.

Analyze and evaluate the financial viability of potential fundraising opportunities and partnerships.

Monitor and report on fundraising progress, adjusting strategies as needed to meet financial objectives.

Grant and Proposal Writing:

Research and identify grant opportunities that align with the company’s projects and objectives.

Write and submit compelling grant proposals to secure funding from governmental, non-governmental, and private sector sources.

Ensure compliance with all grant requirements, including reporting and documentation.
