The work is on supporting an analytical data platform built on IBM Infosphere Streams.
70% ongoing multiple applications support, investigate production issues related to data or/and platform issues, do production deployments implement workarounds, and participate in developing new features 20-30% of the time.
Engage and actively participate in production events, monitor system health and alerts, and proactively identify and resolve issues.
Skill requirements:
High Proficiency in Scripting, such as Shell/Perl/AWK, etc…
Strong understanding of enterprise applications troubleshooting, including data, performance, and network-related issues
Experience with distributed enterprise processing systems
Strong knowledge and 3+ years of experience in UNIX/Linux-based systems troubleshooting
Experience with Microservices architecture, Kubernetes.
Development/Support experience with C++/Java enterprise applications
Passionate about engaging with new technologies.
At least 3+ years of proven experience in software development and support
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in a stressful environment
Ability to support flexible hours
Good to have:
Work experience with Redis and Cassandra
IBM Infosphere Stream's previous experience
Knowledge or experience working with one of the public cloud providers ( AZURE, AWS).
Azure DevOps (2-3 Roles)
Azure DevOps with ELK expertise – ELK is must have
Other skills - Terraform, Ansible, Azure services, Log Analytics, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, Docker, to standardize deployments and automate CI/CD pipelines
Azure Certification, Databricks Certification for Solution Architect and Engineering
Experience in working with Knowledge-based graphs
