Job Description

Reception and Greeting:

Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.

Assist patients with the check-in and check-out process.

Direct patients and visitors to the appropriate department or staff.

Provide information on hospital services, policies, and procedures.

Appointment Scheduling:

Schedule and confirm patient appointments with doctors, specialists, and other hospital departments.

Coordinate appointments for follow-up visits and diagnostic tests.

Maintain an up-to-date schedule and inform patients of any changes.

Telephone and Email Management:

Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.

Respond to patient inquiries, and provide basic information about hospital services.

Manage email communication and forward queries to the appropriate departments.

Patient Admissions and Discharges:

Assist with patient admission paperwork, including collecting necessary personal and insurance information.

Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely patient discharge.

Ensure all patient records are accurately updated and filed.

Data Entry and Record Maintenance:

Enter patient information into the hospital's database or management system.

Maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies.

Ensure proper documentation for billing, insurance claims, and other administrative purposes.

Coordination with Other Departments:

Liaise with medical, nursing, and administrative staff to ensure smooth workflow and patient care.

Coordinate with the billing department for patient invoicing and payments.

Ensure timely communication with various hospital departments (., lab, pharmacy, radiology).

Customer Service:

Address patient concerns, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and empathy.

Provide support to patients and families in a calm and patient-centered manner.
