Job Description

Receptionist Job Responsibilities:

1. Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.

2. Notify the company personnel of visitor arrival.

3. Maintain security and telecommunications system.

4. Inform visitors by answering or referring inquiries.

5. Direct visitors by maintaining employee and department directories.

6. Maintain security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges.

7. Operate telecommunication system by following manufacturer’s instructions for house phone and console operation.

8. Keep a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

9. Support continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

10. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
