Job responsibilities:

Greeting and Seating Guests: Welcome patrons warmly upon arrival, manage reservations, and seat guests appropriately.

Managing Reservations: Handle phone and online reservation systems, update guest records, and manage waitlists.

Handling Phone Calls: Answer inquiries, provide information about the menu, specials, and operating hours, and take reservations or cancellations.

Customer Service: Address guest complaints or concerns promptly, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Administrative Tasks: Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, manage guest and process payments.

Coordinating with Staff: Communicate guest preferences or special requests to wait staff and kitchen staff.

Maintaining Records: Keep track of daily reservations, guest preferences, and special requests to improve future service.

Assisting with Events: Help coordinate private dining events or group bookings if applicable.

Ensuring Compliance: Follow health and safety regulations and ensure the restaurants policies are adhered to.

Overall, the role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and strong organizational abilities.
