Job Title: Forklift Operator

Reports to: Warehouse Manager/Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and certified Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, and store products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

2. Load and unload products from trucks, trailers, and containers.

3. Move products to and from storage areas, loading docks, and production areas.

4. Verify and ensure accurate inventory levels.

5. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

6. Perform daily equipment checks and report any issues.

7. Collaborate with other team members to achieve warehouse goals.

8. Follow safety procedures and regulations.

9. Maintain certification and adhere to OSHA guidelines.

Requirements:

1. Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA or equivalent).

2. 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.

3. High school diploma or equivalent.

4. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

6. Basic math skills and attention to detail.

7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with inventory management software.

2. Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures.

3. Certification in other material handling equipment (., pallet jack, cherry picker).

Working Conditions:

1. Warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

2. Frequent standing, walking, and lifting.

3. Noise level: moderate to high.
