Role Summary
AGSS Analytical and Research Lab (P) Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Safety Officer to ensure the highest food safety and hygiene standards for our clients in the food and catering industries. In this role, you will implement and oversee food safety protocols, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with national and local regulatory standards. Your work will directly contribute to minimizing food safety risks, enhancing hygiene practices, and strengthening compliance with food safety regulations, aligning with our mission of delivering reliable analytical and safety solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Regular Audits:
Perform site inspections to assess compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations. Document findings and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
Implement Food Safety Protocols:
Develop, update, and enforce food safety protocols in alignment with FSSAI guidelines and industry best practices.
Training and Awareness:
Deliver comprehensive training programs to client staff on food handling, hygiene, and safety best practices.
Compliance Monitoring:
Ensure all practices meet regulatory requirements and proactively address any non-compliance issues.
Risk Assessment and Management:
Identify potential food safety hazards and implement preventive measures to minimize risks of contamination and foodborne illnesses.
Record Maintenance:
Maintain detailed records of audits, compliance checks, and training sessions to ensure traceability and regulatory compliance.
Client Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for food safety-related
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Bio technology, Agriculture, Chemistry, or a related field.
