A Floor Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the operations of a particular floor or area within a business, typically in retail, hospitality, or office environments. They ensure that daily activities run smoothly, manage staff, assist customers, and maintain operational efficiency. Job Description:Key Responsibilities:

Staff Supervision & Coordination:

Manage and direct the activities of staff on the floor, including assigning tasks and ensuring they are completed efficiently.

Train new staff members and provide ongoing support and coaching.

Ensure that staff adhere to company policies and maintain high levels of customer service.

Customer Service:

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and effective manner.

Ensure customers have a positive experience and escalate issues when necessary.

Floor Management:

Monitor the general appearance and cleanliness of the floor or area.

Ensure that the layout and presentation of the floor (., retail space, dining area, or office) are aligned with company standards.

Coordinate floor activities to maintain a productive, efficient, and pleasant environment.

Inventory & Stock Management (if applicable):

Oversee the replenishment of stock or supplies, ensuring that items are readily available for staff or customers.

Perform regular checks to ensure that inventory levels are sufficient and report shortages to management.

Operational Efficiency:

Ensure that all equipment and resources on the floor are functioning correctly and arrange for repairs if needed.

Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to enhance workflow and productivity.
