Job Summary:
As a Flight Booking Executive, you will be responsible for assisting customers with booking flights and ensuring that their travel plans are coordinated seamlessly. You will need to have a good understanding of airline routes, schedules, and pricing options to provide customers with accurate information and assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle customer inquiries related to flight bookings, cancellations, and modifications. Assist customers with finding the most suitable flight options based on their travel needs and budget.
Coordinate with airlines, travel agencies, and other third-party vendors to secure flight bookings and confirm reservations. Provide customers with accurate pricing information and options for flight bookings.
Ensure that all flight bookings are confirmed and ticketed on time. Resolve customer complaints and issues related to flight bookings. Maintain accurate records of flight bookings, cancellations, and modifications.
Keep up-to-date with changes in airline policies, fares, and schedules. Meet performance targets related to customer satisfaction, sales, and productivity.
Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in hospitality, tourism, or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience (1+) in a customer service or sales role is required.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor. Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure. Proficiency in using computer software and booking systems.
Knowledge of airline routes, schedules, and pricing options. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
