Roles and Responsibility:
Experience in assembling components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical components, structures, and piping systems.
Cut, shape, and weld metal parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Conduct inspections to identify faults, wear, and necessary repairs.
Ensure all installations and repairs comply with safety regulations.
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other workers to complete projects on time.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Required Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in fitting, welding, or mechanical engineering is preferred.
Minimum experience as a fitter in industries like manufacturing, construction, etc.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
Proficiency in welding, cutting, grinding, and assembling components.
Knowledge of industrial safety standards and procedures.
Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
