As a Fish Packing Laboratory Technician, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and efficient packing of fish products in a laboratory setting. You will work as part of a team and follow established protocols and guidelines to meet production targets and maintain quality standards. Your tasks will include:

Packaging Operations: Prepare, weigh, label, and pack fish products according to specifications and customer requirements. This may involve using manual or automated packaging equipment and following proper hygiene practices to ensure food safety.

Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections of fish products to ensure they meet quality standards, including appearance, color, texture, and packaging integrity. Identify and remove any damaged or substandard products.

Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of packaging materials, supplies, and finished products. Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors when replenishment is needed.

Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Comply with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of packaging equipment to ensure proper functioning. Report any malfunctions or equipment failures to the supervisor.

Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including production operators, quality control personnel, and supervisors, to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a food packaging or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and GMP is a plus.

Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
