Job Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Design Draughtsman PHE Fire for a full-time position based in Pune. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience and will be responsible for preparing detailed plumbing and fire safety system designs using AutoCAD. This mid-level role requires expertise in technical drawings, piping layout, water supply systems, and adherence to building codes.

Qualifications and Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating detailed technical drawings.

Experience in designing plumbing and piping layouts for buildings.

Strong understanding of water supply and sewage systems design.

Knowledge of drafting standards and best practices.

Familiarity with building codes and regulations related to plumbing and fire safety systems.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation.

Ability to collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design feasibility.

Good communication skills to effectively convey design concepts and requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

Create detailed Plumbing and Fire Safety system designs using AutoCAD.

Prepare accurate technical drawings, schematics, and piping layouts.

Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, standards, and practices.

Coordinate with engineers and project managers to review and refine designs.

Update and maintain design documentation throughout project lifecycle.

Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues on-site, if required.

Contribute to project planning and timelines by providing accurate design deliverables.

Stay updated on industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in piping and plumbing design.
