As a Senior Fire Protection Engineer you will lead the Mechanical Services design for a range of projects
Review the design and specification of Mechanical services for various types of buildings and sectors.
Review and production of detailed Schematics
Develop the Mechanical design standards within the organization
Mentoring of junior engineering staff
The Senior Fire Protection Engineer may be tasked with Providing fully detailed tender packages in line with our clients instructions.
Develop and agree project scope with client
Produce budgets and reports for project monitoring.
Preparation of design drawings covering all aspects of mechanical elements.
Liaise and co-ordinate with members of the client’s team.
Creation of installed drawings.
Attend technical / project meetings via conference calls.
Assist with the preparation of technical documentation for issue of tenders and construction.
Prepare schematics for Mechanical services such as Fire Sprinkler Protection, Foam enhanced Fire Protection, Gas Protection, Firewater Mist Protection, Insert Gas Protection & Special Hazard Fire Protection
Carry out pipe sizing.
Ensuring all latest building and Fire protection design standards and regulations are adhered to.
• Management of Project Schedule.
• Monitoring of all costs associated with your projects.
• Close out of all project items, and review any lessons learned.
