Founded in the year 2022 and incorporated under the Companies Act of 1956, The Lakshit Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited (LAFPCL), headquartered in Thrissur, Kerala is the largest organic producer company in India owned by the farmers. It was set up to embolden the farmers to take on the challenges of production, procurement, processing and marketing of Organic and Fairtrade certified products in the domestic and international markets.The company aims to cut out the middleman and hence ensures that the farmer benefits the maximum in the end pricing of his agricultural produce. The company also ensures an Organic and Fairtrade premium over and above the market price so that the farmer has an incentive to follow Organic and Fairtrade practices.
