Travelling Sales Representative in Gujarat - Job Description
1. Travels throughout assigned cities in gujarat to call on regular and prospective stores to get orders, and talks with store owners and sales representatives to take orders, feedback.
2. Sets and achieves sales goals across the marked territories.
3. Services existing stores, obtains orders, and establishes new stores by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call and visit existing and potential sales outlets.
4. Collects and tracks payments due from retail stores.
5. Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.
6. Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
7. Estimates date of delivery to stores, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
8. Prepares reports of business transactions, keeps expense accounts and mileage logs.
9. Works with inside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.
10. Tracks stock levels in stores and updates as required.
11. Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing personnel.
12. Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
13. Attends trade exhibitions as requested.
14, Provide accurate information to retailers/ wholesalers (. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
15. Answers customers/ stores questions about products and service
16. Ensure racks are fully stocked in each store
17. Manage returns of merchandise as required
18. Coordinate with the Retail Sales Representatives team to provide excellent customer service
19. Provide product feedback and retail store feedback to the management
20. Keeps management informed by submitting daily reports, weekly work plans, and monthly analysis.
