1. Salesperson who visits customers in their workplaces, homes and offices to sell in person.

2. Their duties include attracting new customers to a company, nurturing relationships with them and maximizing the profit within their territory.

3. They are responsible for generating leads, closing deals, and maintaining relationships with customers.

4. Selling and promoting products to both existing and potential clients

5. Performing needs analysis and cost-benefit analysis for clients

6. Establishing and maintaining positive business relationships with clients

7. Monitoring competitors’ sales activities

8. Assisting with corporate marketing strategies and expanding the company to new markets

9. Cold calling potential clients

10. Coordinating sales efforts with other departments

11. Supplying the management team with reports on customer needs or interests, potential new products, or services, and competitive activities
