About Swachh Maharashtra Project in Chandrapur the Wash Project Aims to Equip 20 Selected Schools in District Chandrapur (maharashtra) with Improved Access to Safe and Sustainable Sanitation Infrastructure By Upgrading Toilets, Handwashing Stations and Providing Comprehensive Behaviour Change Training to Key Stakeholders to Create Long Term Change. as Winners of the Swachh Maharashtra Grand Challenge, Katha and Sacred are Getting An Opportunity to Implement Their Project in Chandrapur So that These Can Be Tested and if Proven Successful, Can Be Scaled to other Geographies. While Sacred is Responsible for Building Wash Infrastructure in 20 Schools, Katha Will Work Towards Bcc (behaviour Change Communication) Component of Wash. Katha Believes that Sanitation and Hygiene Behaviour, Play a Crucial Role in Shaping Up a Childs Wellbeing. if Wash Behaviour is Inculcated from a Young Age, It is Bound to Reflect On the Overall Development of the Society By Producing Healthier and Productive Adults in the Future. this Project, However, Will Impact Not Just the Students, But the Teachers and Members of the Community Positively as Well. the Members of the Community Will Include the Parents of the Children, Their Relatives and Friends Living in the Vicinity. the Direct Beneficiaries of the Project are the School Students, the Young Minds Who are Tomorrows Youth Which Can Support to Build a Better Community. 20 Schools in Total Will Be Provided Various Facilities and Behavior Change Will Be Enabled Impacting the Students Positively.

Main Objective of this Position the Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (wash) Coordinator is Responsible for Running and Supervising Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Project On Ground. He/she is also Responsible for Accomplishing the Program Objectives and Outcomes Within the Contextual Constraints. the Coordinator Shall Ensure the Overall Success of the Program By Ensuring all Needed Support to Kathas Training Team.
