Job Description

ALIF MARKET DMCC, a Dubai wholesale trade company, is on the hunt for a talented and experienced Sales Manager of Fertilizers. The person should be excited by selling into new markets, strategizing next steps and negotiating complex deals.

Sales Manager is responsible for all aspects of international trade, including but not limited to:

• developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base;

• maintaining active international sales to India and African countries within the 6 product lines, namely Chemical Fertilizers (high-priority), Building & Construction Materials, Metal Wires, Petrochemicals, Grains, Cereals & Legumes, Timber and has experience in Chemical Fertilizers business segment;

• preparing and approving complete package of documents for import/export and customs clearance, managing and controlling shipment terms;

• interacting with forwarding, brokerage, transport, insurance companies and etc.;

• strengthening, building and developing strong relationships with Indian and African distributors/buyers, when necessary travel to visit customers;

• expanding the client base, formation of a base in CRM and its maintenance;

• attending events and conferences to increase brand awareness and to expand industry knowledge;

• continually striving to acquire product knowledge, monitoring industry and market trends including competitor product offerings and pricing;

• participating in tenders on behalf of the company to obtain the right to supply products;

• introducing new brands and categories to the market by leading the sales team in product launches;

• keeping records of operational activities, weekly/monthly reporting on the results of activities, execution of the sales plan and the development budget of the unit;

• performing other job-related duties as assigned.
