ABOUT US:

We are Swarnkamal Agro Industries Private Limited - a commercial farming consortium having 10+ years of extensive experience in growing quality vegetables/fruits using latest scientific practices in olericulture. We are hiring for our current venture Surabhi Agro Farm Enterprises (SAFE) in Mudpeli Khurd, Singrauli (Madhya Pradesh) spread over 250 acres.

Job Summary :-

We are searching for a competent Farm Manager with extensive experience and good business sense to join our team.

He would be the approver of all activities related to the farm.

Responsibilities :-

Work on business requirements given by farmer - crop to be planted/quantity.

Manage planning and implementation of all crop life cycle stages.

Coordinate with stakeholders in collecting and fulfilling workforce, equipment requirements.

Oversee farm administration.

Maintain farming resources.

Ensure proper functioning of farm by monitoring all farming activities and correcting any problems that arise.

Manage recruitment, training, housing, finances and procurement.

Mitigate weather risks with contingency plans.

Required Skills :-

Good managerial, communication and interpersonal skills.

Should know agronomy, management.

Technically competent and aware of latest practices in agricultural science.

Keep open communication lines with farmers and staff.

Keep accurate books of running costs and yield.

Attention to detail.

Required Experience:-

Experience of 3-5 years managing over 100 acres farms.

Required Qualification:-

Bachelors degree in Agriculture

Additional courses in Business Management or Administration preferred.
