He has to establish goals for performance and growth of the company.

He has to create policies that promote company vision.

He has to evaluate performance by analyzing data and metrics.

He has to monitor operations and have to trigger correct actions.

He has to share trusting relationship with the workgroup and have to recruit, manage and develop the staff as and when required.

He has to develop and implement innovative strategies to streamline the factory operations.

He has to collaborate with Quality Control Manager to establish and execute quality control procedures.

He has to ensure that factory machinery is in good working conditions.

He has to regularly inspect the finished products to determine that they meet the specific standards.

He must have a very good knowledge of Labour laws, Factory Act, PF, ESIC etc

He has to Liaison with Government, Semi Government and Local bodies and liaison with GPCB, GIDC etc.

He also has to co-ordinate with production, maintenance, QC, Store, Dispatch, Safety and Security departments.

He must have good command over English, Hindi and Gujarati Languages.

He must have Bachelor Degree in Science or Bachelor Degree in Commerce with 15 to 20 years experience as Unit head or Factory Manager in a chemical manufacturing company.

If candidate residing in Vapi, Daman, Silvassa or Sarigam will be preferred first.
